Common questions before you call.
-
What happens on the 15-minute call?
Fifteen minutes, on the phone. You describe what's going on; we ask about the situation, the scope of care needed, and any timing pressure. By the end we both know whether Salve is the right fit.
-
What hours do you cover?
Days, evenings, overnights, and around-the-clock multi-shift coverage when a plan needs it. Four-hour minimum per visit.
-
Do you do live-in care?
Live-in is not part of our standard offering, where one caregiver stays 24/7 with the client. We can sometimes source it as a custom arrangement; mention it on the 15-minute call, and we'll see if we can match a caregiver. For most cases that need overnight presence, multi-shift coverage (a sequence of caregivers across the day and night) works better and is what we typically build into the care plan.
-
Can you start tomorrow?
Often, yes, especially for post-hospital recovery and respite. We'll know on the 15-minute call. For complex cases or specific caregiver matches, give us a few days.
-
Do I need to commit to a number of hours up front?
No. We start where you start. Most families begin with a few hours a week and adjust as they go. Month to month, no contract minimum.
