Families whose loved one is coming home after surgery, a hospital stay, or a fall. With registered nurses on the team and a BC HCP license, we cover both the personal-care and the clinical sides of recovery: wound care, infusions, medication management, the lot.
Most families start with daily visits in the first week, then taper. Four-hour minimum per visit. Days, evenings, overnights, or 24-hour care depending on what the recovery calls for.

Wound care and dressing changes, medication management, mobility support, help with bathing and dressing, light meal prep, and notes for the next medical visit. We pick up where the discharge instructions leave off.
Yes. We work from the discharge summary and the family doctor's orders, and we'll communicate with hospital social workers or community-care nurses where relevant. The 15-minute call is when we go through the plan together.
Often the day of discharge. Many families call us during the hospital stay so the caregiver is at the home when the patient arrives. We're set up for short-notice starts for post-hospital cases.
Yes. Wound care, dressing changes, and IV therapy (including PICC line dressing changes and flushes with physician order) are RN-performed under our BC HCP license. Personal-care components continue alongside, by trained caregivers.
Caregiver-led visits run $41–$45 an hour with a four-hour minimum; when a Registered Nurse is needed for clinical work, those visits are $75 an hour.
