From Ambleside through the British Properties to Horseshoe Bay, West Vancouver is a city of long driveways, heritage homes, and families used to a certain quiet. Our caregivers know the streets and respect the privacy.
West Van calls tend toward the longer arrangements: discreet, ongoing support for parents who plan to age in place, dementia care with the same caregiver each visit, and the first weeks home from Lions Gate Hospital.
West Vancouver recoveries tend to happen in larger homes (more rooms, more stairs, longer driveways), and they tend to become longer arrangements. The discharge weeks are where it starts: we follow the Lions Gate plan precisely, keep the household running quietly around it, and report to the family in whatever rhythm they prefer. When recovery turns into ongoing support, the same caregiver stays. Discretion is part of how the work is done.
Many West Vancouver families pay privately and care most about clear, predictable billing: caregiver-led visits at $41–$45 an hour, RN-led clinical work at $75, itemized bi-weekly invoices. Long-term-care insurance policies usually reimburse against exactly those invoices. Where public home support through Vancouver Coastal Health or VAC funding applies, we bill accordingly: VAC is direct-billed, and with CSIL you pay us directly from your funding.

Common questions from West Vancouver families.
Can the same caregiver come every visit?
That's how we prefer to work, and for ongoing West Vancouver arrangements it's nearly always the case. Consistency is most of what makes home care feel safe, for the client and the family.
Do you go out to Caulfeild and Horseshoe Bay?
Yes: Ambleside through Dundarave, the British Properties, Sandy Cove, Caulfeild, out to Horseshoe Bay and Eagle Harbour. Getting there is ours to manage.
Will you work alongside long-term-care insurance?
Yes. We provide itemized invoices and receipts in the format LTC policies ask for; families submit for reimbursement. We'll also walk through what your policy needs on the 15-minute call.
