Delta is three communities under one name, each with its own feel: Tsawwassen by the water, Ladner's village core, North Delta's hill streets. A long drive between them, and our caregivers know the routes either way.
Delta calls split between two patterns: discharge week from Delta Hospital (or VGH after a transfer) and ongoing dementia care for clients who've been in the same Tsawwassen or Ladner home for decades. Overnight care comes up regularly too.
Delta Hospital is the community hospital; bigger procedures often mean a stay at VGH or Surrey Memorial and a transfer home afterward. Either way, home is one of three distinct places (Tsawwassen, Ladner, or North Delta), and we schedule honestly for the distances between them. The discharge weeks get the full treatment: medications, wound care, mobility, and notes the family can read from wherever they are.
Public home support in Delta runs through Fraser Health, and private hours fill what it leaves open, often the overnight stretch. Caregiver-led visits are $41–$45 an hour; couple's care adds $20 an hour for the second person rather than doubling the bill, which matters for the long-married Ladner households we often work with. VAC and ICBC are direct-billed, and with CSIL you pay us directly from your funding; extended health plans get itemized receipts.

Common questions from Delta families.
Can you care for both my parents on one visit?
Yes: couple's care adds $20 an hour for the second person, not a second full rate. One caregiver, one visit, two care plans.
Do you cover all three parts of Delta?
Yes: Tsawwassen and Beach Grove, Ladner and the Village, North Delta from Sunshine Hills through Annieville and Nordel. The travel between them goes into our schedule, and your visit stays full-length.
