Publicly funded home support in Burnaby runs through Fraser Health, and the allotted hours often aren't enough on their own. Families top up with private care: Salve covers the mornings, the overnights, or the weekend the public schedule leaves open. Caregiver-led visits run $41–$45 an hour, we direct-bill VAC and ICBC, with CSIL you pay us directly from your funding, and we provide itemized receipts for extended health plans.

Common questions from Burnaby families.
Can you start before a Burnaby Hospital discharge date?
Yes: calling during the stay is the best version of this. We'll go through the discharge plan on the 15-minute call and have a caregiver at the home the day your loved one arrives, which is exactly when the help matters most.
Do you cover the high-rises around Metrotown?
Yes, and we treat the building as part of the care plan: elevator timing, the walk from the parkade, which exits work with a walker. The same applies to Brentwood and Lougheed towers.
My parents are in Burnaby and I'm not. How do I stay in the loop?
You'll hear from us after visits in whatever form you want: a text, a call, an email. Plenty of our Burnaby families are adult children scheduling from another city, and the arrangement works fine that way.
