Dementia and Alzheimer's care across Coquitlam happens in family homes: quiet routines, the same caregiver each visit, gentle redirection when the day shifts. We work in Town Centre and Westwood Plateau, Maillardville and Maillardville Park, Burke Mountain and Partington, and the rest of the city, with caregivers families know by name.

Who it's for
Families navigating early to mid-stage dementia at home. We're not a memory care facility. We're the help that lets your loved one stay home, longer, with someone they trust.
Hours and schedule
Frequency varies. Some families need a few hours a week, others daily visits. Four-hour minimum per visit. Days and evenings.
§
Backup for the spouse who does everything.
A lot of Coquitlam dementia care is being delivered by a husband or wife in a Como Lake or Austin Heights bungalow, around the clock, unpaid and unrelieved. Our visits give that arrangement a future: a trained caregiver who holds the routines for part of the day, watches for the changes a tired spouse stops seeing, and writes the note that keeps the kids in the loop. The disease is progressive; the support should be too.

Dementia & Alzheimer's care in Coquitlam: what families ask.
Is this dementia care or respite? My mother cares for my father.
Honestly, both, and they blend. The visit cares for your father with dementia-trained technique, and it relieves your mother by existing. Many Coquitlam families start it as one and come to value it as the other.
What about wandering? The street is busy.
During visits, supervision and safe-environment checks are part of the work, and we'll be straight with you: a few visits a week supervises a few visits a week. If the wandering risk is constant, we'll say plainly when the situation needs more coverage than it has.
Where in Coquitlam we deliver.
We see Coquitlam families in Town Centre and Westwood Plateau, Maillardville and Maillardville Park, Burke Mountain and Partington, Eagle Ridge and Coquitlam West, and Austin Heights and Como Lake.
What it costs, and how families pay for it (extended health, VAC, CSIL,
and more), is laid out in costs and coverage. The people behind the visits are here: meet our caregivers.
