Complex care in Coquitlam usually starts with a discharge from Eagle Ridge Hospital: an IV, a wound vac, a feeding tube, sometimes a trach. Hours and schedule
Frequency depends on the plan. Some clients need a daily skilled-nursing visit, some weekly, some on a flexible schedule that wraps around personal care. Caregiver-led shifts have a four-hour minimum; standalone RN visits (a short, specific clinical task: wound change, IV flush, injection) can be as short as one hour. Days, evenings, overnights, and around-the-clock multi-shift coverage all available.

Hospice is a formal program under a separate BC framework. Our palliative nursing is home-based comfort care: pain and symptom management, family support, coordination with the medical team, often alongside or ahead of formal hospice involvement.
Can clinical coverage run overnight?
Yes. Around-the-clock multi-shift coverage is available when the plan calls for it, with caregiver shifts carrying the night and RN visits scheduled for the clinical tasks.
