Who it's for

Older adults whose family wants them to stay in their own home, with help. The 'eyes-on a few times a week' service that prevents the bigger crises.

Hours and schedule

Four-hour minimum per visit. Most families start with one to three visits a week and adjust over time.

Keeping the house and the day in order.

Coquitlam's split-levels weren't designed for late-stage knees: laundry below, bedrooms above, groceries up from the carport. Hourly care takes over that vertical circuit (meals, washing, the stairs-heavy chores) and wraps it in supervision that reports what it sees. A few visits a week is usually enough to keep a parent comfortably in the house the family doesn't want to sell and she doesn't want to leave.
